The match lasted 4 hour and 12 min, but in the end, the best man won. Today, Federer seemed a bit gloomy. Even after the tiresome victory over his opponent, he was not very happy going into Final of French Open. Federer has always had an expresionless face and a mysteriously flat personova, but today seemed as if Federer was trying to create fun or energy in the game.

No offense to Del Porto, No 5 in the world ranking. but still he was no match to No 2 in world ranking and No 1 in the hearts of Tennis Lovers. Coming back to the topic, his play, his body language every thing .. it all seemed like trying to bring back the long lost charm that young Federer used to have. The joy of the game .. joy of becoming the game, by lenghtinising the game .. making unforced errors .. he seemed like playing with his opponent as if a cat with its prey.

If Federer continues to play with same frequency, I predict that he will go on an unexpectedly early retirement from the Grand Slams.
