Real Culprits Of The Age
Our media is the best when it comes to fantasizing and glamorising a not so concerned event. Like a dog pissing on the PM’s car or a freaked rally for no freaked reason!! They will cover such events with immense interest and will tell you the very obvious details again and again .. and you will listen to them again and again!!
The event which motivated me to write about the biasedness of media is the mass killing of fellow Muslim Shia’s at para-chanar, badgam, gilgit … infact in the whole of the Frontier region. Our media didnt even give a slide on this or atleast a squeak!? It is not a minor event … more than 80 people are being brutally murdered there, not to mention that due to recent release of the videos it has become a word on the street …! but what is our media doing ..? not raising voice for whom they should!!
I recall recently when the free press was banned these were the media people who begged at our doors for support and promised to give away their lives but not be biased … what happened now .//? I suppose the govt. was right calling them the real culprits and shutting them down. beacuse they can only spray gas on burning nations and cash.
I guess I m not wrong when I say that the media and specially the Pakistani media has failed to acknowledge and serve its purpose. It can only tell us how was the day of a loose politician and how are we gonna die. It can unveil nothing nor it can transmit any majestic message.
